Boston Wedding Photographer - Lukas Kisiel

About Lukas

My wedding photography is often described by others as a unique blend of fine art, documentary photojournalism and fashion editorial styles. To me it is simply a celebration of the human spirit, our emotions, and those timeless moments one wishes could linger.

The art of photography has been a part of my life since the days of scampering around my father's darkroom in my early teens. Formally trained as a Jazz musician at the Vilnius Conservatory in Lithuania, my photography is a natural transition for my skills of playful improvisation and artistic expression.

Born and raised in Vilnius, Lithuania, I continue to draw strong and undeniable artistic influences not only from my own European heritage, but also from incredibly rich and thriving American culture. I speak several languages fluently - English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian. I find that my broad cultural awareness allows me to learn, document and interpret the traditions of many world cultures with as much respect and honesty as they deserve.

My personal world travels make me comfortable taking pictures anywhere with anyone - at the extravagant society weddings in New York City, or an intimate family gathering on a private beach on Cape Cod. The goal is always the same - capturing the essence of the moment and the person being in that moment.
