About Lukas

I am a portrait photographer. My wedding photography is often described by others as a unique blend of fine art, documentary photojournalism and fashion editorial styles. To me it is simply a celebration of the human spirit, our emotions, and those timeless moments one wishes could linger - the groom's sparkling eyes when he first glimpses his bride, the bride's glow as she floats down the aisle, or mothers' realizations that their children are all grown up.

The art of photography has been a part of my life since the days of scampering around my father's darkroom in my early teens. Formally trained as a Jazz musician at the Vilnius Conservatory in Lithuania, my photography is a natural transition for my skills of playful improvisation and artistic expression.

Born and raised in Vilnius, Lithuania, I continue to draw strong and undeniable artistic influences not only from my own European heritage, but also from incredibly rich and thriving American culture. I speak several languages fluently - English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian. I find that my broad cultural awareness allows me to learn, document and interpret the traditions of many world cultures with as much respect and honesty as they deserve.

My personal world travels make me comfortable taking pictures anywhere with anyone - at the extravagant society weddings in New York City, or an intimate family gathering on a private beach on Cape Cod. The goal is always the same - capturing the essence of the moment and the person being in that moment.

	Johanna Wissler - studio manager and album designer. Artist, photographer and graphic designer, Johanna brings almost 10 years of wedding industry and studio management experience, including once upon a time ownership of a very successful wedding photography studio in Philadelphia.
	Kristen Olson - associate photographer. Kristen Olson, a graduate of Boston University's Photojournalism program, has worked as a staff photographer for The Eagle Tribune and The Salem News, owned by Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc. (CNHI), from 2004-2007. Most recently she was named CNHI's Photographer of the Year in 2006. Olson's photojournalistic style allows her to document your wedding and illustrate your day as it unfolds. Her ability to catch just the right moment creates memorable photographs for your family and friends to enjoy for a lifetime.
	Emily Worden - associate photographer. While currently a student at the New England School of Photography, one of only few full-time photography schools in the country, Emily plays an integral part in the studio's digital imaging production. And with her ability to remain unseen and still be present for many spontaneous moments of any wedding day, she continuously captures incredibly beatuful moments, wedding after wedding.
