Louise and Kanti - Graylag Cabins, NH wedding

Louise and Kanti's wedding at the Graylag Cabins in Pittsfield, NH. I love, love big city weddings, but yet, undeniably, there is something very charming about the intimate atmosphere of a wedding in the woods. Especially, if there is a bit of class and style involved. Leave it to Louise and Kanti, a British woman and a Canadian man. Sure enough, this was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to. Simple, stylish and beautiful. Congratulations, Louise and Kanti!

By the way, the Graylag Cabins only recently have been made available for weddings. What a great scenic and private spot for an outdoor wedding!

Marrin and Josh - Four Seasons Boston wedding

Marrin and Josh's wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. Congratulations, Josh and Marrin! This was just a fantastic day. And it's always nice to see when the bride and groom are enjoying it as much as everyone else. So much joy, laughter and good times!

I love working at Four Seasons. If you're a bride, or a groom, or a family member, or simply attending a wedding there, then the understated luxury and class of this hotel is something worth experiencing. But I only know that the location, if you're a wedding photographer, is beyond anything you could wish for! It helps that it's right near Boston Public Garden, one of the most beautifully landscaped (and well maintained) parks around.

Vanita and Suraj - Glen Magna Farms wedding

Vanita and Suraj's wedding at the Glen Magna Farms in Danvers, MA. While I do get to photograph a fair number of multicultural weddings, Indian weddings are some of my favorites. This was no exception, too. While there were no elephants, or white horses involved, the atmosphere was just fabulous. The warmth and intimacy of family ties between so many relatives living so far away from each other... It's so nice to be a witness to this much joy!

L'Tonia and Ricky - Boston wedding

L'Tonia and Ricky got married in Boston. They aren't from around here, so the celebrations were reserved for their home town. I only photographed their civil ceremony at the Boston courthouse. And we also spent a couple of hours on outdoor portraits. What a fun couple! Here are some of my favorites:

Where is me?

It's been a few really busy months on the job! Thus, only a few updates here. Stay tuned, though, photos are on their way!

Where am I? What have I been up to? Well, I've been spending a lot of time behind my cameras and... even more time in front of my computers. Busy, busy summer wedding season! I don't love saying this, but on some projects I am still several weeks behind... And that's just simply because I can hardly keep up with post-production after all the weddings, portraits and other assignments. When it comes to photography, though, one good, well done photograph is worth a hundred lousy ones. Ha, that's my motto and I am sticking to it!

Here is what I wish I was doing every day:



The reality is somewhat different. It's probably more like for every hour that I spend behind the camera, I end up spending about 10 hours in front of my computer - photo editing, order processing, billing, marketing, email and phone communications - you name it! Fun, fun, fun! No need for a photo illustration there!

Alex and Chris - Fairmont Copley Plaza wedding

Alex and Chris' wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. It was a pure joy photographing this wedding. I love working at the Fairmont Hotel, because of it's beautiful interior and all the other great architecture in Copley Square. But beyond that, working with great couples and having an opportunity to capture such an important day in their lives - that's what truly inspires me to do my work every day. I always get excited for my couples and their families. While we don't need to get too corny here, I'll just say, thank you Alex and Chris!
